Description:
Cassia oil is a spicy herb, scientifically known as Cinnamomum cassia, belongs to Lauraceae family. It is native to China , it is evergreen tree and grows up to 20 meters or 65 feet tall with having thick, leathery leaves and tiny and has white flowers.
Extraction:
Cassia essential oil is acquired from bark of cassia plant through steam distillation method.
Composition:
Cassia oil is mainly constitutes of cinnamaldehyde, cinnamyl acetate, benzaldehyde, linalool and chavicol.
Properties:
Cassia oil is golden yellow or brown in color and has strong, warm and woody resinous odor.
