Description:
Cardamom oil is acquired from seeds of cardamom, scientifically known as Elettaria cardamomum. Cardamom is a perennial herb, member of Zingiberaceae family and it grows in India, also known as green or true cardamom. It has large green leaves & seeds and white flowers. Cardamom oil is a vital component, it has many health benefits.
Extraction:
Cardamom oil is extracted from seeds of Elettaria cardamomum through steam distillation. Its seeds are harvested just before ripening for obtaining cardamom oil.
Composition:
Cardamom oil is composed of sabinene, limonene, terpenene, eugenol, cineole, nerol, geriol, linalool, neradiol, heptenone, borneol, alpha terpineol, beta terpineol, terpinyl acetate, alpha pinene, myrcene, cymene, neryl acetate, methyl heptenone, linalyl acetate and heptacosane.
Properties:
Cardamom oil is clear pale yellow in colour and has sweet spicy, rich and woody fragrance and slightly watery viscosity.

Cardamom oil is well mixes with rose, cedar wood, bergamot, cinnamon, cloves, orange and caraway.
