Description:
Jasmine absolute oil is acquired from jasmine species, scientifically known as Jasminum officinale which belongs to Oleaceae family. Jasmine plant was originated in India and grows up to height of 10 to 15 feet and has dark green leaves and its flowers are blossoms at night and have powerful fragrance. Jasmine plant is native to Northern India, China and Western Asia.
Extraction:
Jasmine oil is obtained from white flowers through solvent extracted by ethyl alcohol.
Composition:
Jasmine absolute oil is composed of various properties such as benzyl acetate, linalool, benzyl alcohol, indole, bezyl benzoate, cis-jasmone, geraniol, methyl anthranilate and traces of p. cresol, farnesol, cis-3-hexenyl benzoate, eugenol, nerol, ceosol, benzoic acid, benzaldehyde, γ-terpineol, nerlidal, isohytol and phytol.
Properties:
It is warm, rich and intensely & deeply floral and it is very concentrated. It is deep orange red, transparent and mobile liquid.
Blending:
Jasmine oil is nicely blends with bergamot, black pepper, Cassia, cedar wood, chamomile, clary sage, coriander, frankincense, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, mandarin, neroli, orange, lime, lemongrass, palmarosa, patchouli, rose, sandalwood, tuberose, vetiver, ylang ylang and geranium.
